Northern Sea Oats | Inland Wood Oats | Native Grass Seeds

Sustainably hand-harvested Chasmanthium latifolium seeds. Thrives best in partial sunlight in medium to wet soil. Beautiful fish scale-like oats form in July and mature in fall. Up to 3 feet tall. 

Sea oat seeds require 2 months of cold, moist stratification before germination. This can be done naturally by leaving the seeds outside all winter, or artificially by refrigerating them in a moist paper towel until they sprout. Transfer the seeds to soil as soon as they sprout. 

Each packet contains approximately 75 seeds.
