White Turtlehead | Native Wildflower Seeds

Sustainably hand-harvested Chelone glabra seeds. Provides nectar to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Larval host to Baltimore butterfly. Blooms July-September in full sunlight. Tolerant of wet soil but can also grow in medium soil. Perennial. Up to 5 feet tall.

Turtlehead seeds require 3 months of cold, moist stratification before germination. This can be done naturally by leaving the seeds outside all winter, or artificially by refrigerating them in a moist paper towel until they sprout. Transfer the seeds to soil as soon as they sprout. 

Each packet contains approximately 300 seeds.
