Sustainably hand-harvested Ratibida pinnata seeds. Provides nectar for butterflies and bees. Host plant to wavy-lined moth. Birds eat seeds in fall-winter. Medium to dry soil in full to part sun. Blooms July-September. Up to 5 feet tall. Perennial.
Yellow coneflower seeds require 1 month of cold, moist stratification before germination. This can be done naturally by leaving the seeds outside all winter, or artificially by refrigerating them in a moist paper towel until they sprout. Transfer the seeds to soil as soon as they sprout.
Each packet contains approximately 1,000 seeds.
